Report: The Californian Motorcycle Show 2018
In the heart of Southern California lies an event like no other where fans and spectators come together to support a motorcycle and car event and also bet highs stakes on a racing breed that has the potential of dominating the track.
Kentucky derby anyone?
The Kentucky Derby is the event of all events for horse gamblers and spectators alike. This year the Kentucky Derby happened to fall on May 5th the same day as The Californian S
how.
Just like the Daytona 500 is too NASCAR the Kentucky Derby is a prestigious event that has earned such a large worldwide following.
So what does horse racing have to do with motorcycles?
The Californian Motorcycle show is a mix of horse racing, vintage motorcycles and cars all tied together in one location.
The Californian motorcycle show takes place at the iconic and world famous Santa Anita Race Track in Arcadia, California.
If you have never been to a horse race or track I would say it’s one of the most classy racing events you could possibly attend which makes it an ideal spot for the California motorcycle show.
The host - Brady Walker
The second annual Californian motorcycle show of 2018 is hosted and founded by a chap named Brady Walker.
Brady Walker has a passion for anything vintage including cars and motorcycles. Not only does Brady enjoy his vintage motorcycles also likes to race and share his passion by putting on some awesome events throughout the SoCal including his signature “Classic Track Day" held at Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, California.

So now you know a little more about Brady Walker and his SoCal events lets go over our report of the 2018 Californian motorcycle show..
Report - The Californian Show
This year was Classic British Spares first year attending the California motorcycle show and I must say our team had a blast!
When I was told that the venue was being held at the Santa Anita Race Track I thought to myself this would be pretty "interesting". Typical events are held at golf courses, parks, warehouses but never a horse race track!
The mix between horse racing and a motorcycle show turned out to be the perfect blend..
The SoCal weather couldn’t have been any better (or cooler?). Blue sky’s, palm tress, and beautiful motorcycles on top of the crisp green grass over looking Mount Baldy.
There where all makes and models of motorcycles and unique vehicles that everyone could enjoy. If you like stock bikes, cafe racers, bobbers or custom motorcycles, the Californian show had something for everyone to see.
Photos
Below are some of the photos I took at the event that I would like to share with you all today.
If you spot any errors or you see a motorcycle that belongs to you or someone you please let us know and we will give credit where credit is due.
Enjoy..
See you next year
I hope everyone enjoyed the photos above. It's so nice to see everyone into vintage motorcycles especially models and brands from the 1940's and 1950's where parts are hard to obtain.
For those who attended the 2018 Californian I look forward to seeing you for next year's show. Based off the turn-out I would imagine that this show will be here for good.
