A few words from Malcolm...

Let's take you on a trip when Classic British Spares was established.

Yes- back in the good Ol' '90s when you had to order vintage Triumph parts and BSA motorcycle parts by sending in a letter and check to your favorite supplier.

Our company initially started out as a hobby and a passion and quickly grew out of control.

We were working in a garage wrenching on my own bikes, friends bikes, and customers bikes.

Although in the '90s is when Classic British Spares was established, we still had been working on bikes previously (independently) as early as the 1970's.

Working in Southern California in shops such as "Lammy Lamoureux" and "Bill Robertson Triumph of North Hollywood". That is where the experience was born – not to forget the passion that grew along with it.

Fast forward to 2014

Lets fast forward to 2014...

In 2014 Classic British Spares was officially back in full force this time offering parts online through eBay and our website.

I guess you could say we were out of the loop for sometime but we were always in business and the C.B.S. name was just a strong as it was the day we first established it.

We decided to sell online because of many reasons. Not only are we just a company that sells but we are also buyers searching for parts.

We have dealt with many companies (now our competitors) and have experienced many different types of customer service throughout the years.

Most were phenomenal and some were satisfactory to say the least not to mention the enormous part price and the exaggerated shipping price to get the parts to my shop.

Being in a customer shoes my partner and I have decided to take our company online and offer something different that many of our competitors are not doing today.

"Free shipping, affordable parts and best customer service..."

Free shipping, affordable parts, and best customer service. Those are the three motto's that we live by and which we offer through our company today.

The other reason that also prompted us to start selling online is that many parts are what I like to call "tied up".

A lot of folks think that if a supplier does not carry a part that it is no longer being produced or it's hard to find.

With myself being in the parts business I have found that many suppliers will only stock parts that they can turn around quickly.

We have a different approach to this. We want to be able to stock as much parts as we can regardless if we sell them quickly or not. This approach will allow us to be your one stop shop for all your parts needs regardless of what brand or model you have.

"We look forward to working with you..."
