Buying BSA Motorcycle Parts In England From California

 BSA Parts Banner

Whether you live in London, or Durham, England purchasing BSA motorcycle parts from my company in California has never been made easier!

Now I'm sure some of you may be thinking why would I buy motorcycle parts from a company in a different country? That is a valid question therefore I will list 3 reasons why you should purchase BSA motorcycle parts from my company in California and how it will actually benefit you more than you purchasing parts in your own country.

Strong British Pound GBP £

The main incentive of you living in England and purchasing BSA motorcycle parts from me in Southern California is that you have the upper hand when it comes to England's strong dollar - for now.

If you haven't checked the currency conversion for the British Pound £ to the United States dollar $ I would advise that you do so now. I put a small chart below showing today's rate just so you can get an idea of how strong your currency really is. Keep in mind that currency is subject to change at any minute throughout the day. Your dollar could be strong today and perhaps fall short tomorrow so take advantage.

British Pound (GBP)

£0.77 +0.23

United States Dollar (USD)

$1.00 -0.23

With England having a really strong dollar you have the freedom to purchase more BSA motorcycle parts from countries like the United States because your dollar can be stretched a lot further in another country versus your own.

Fast shipping

The Internet today as we know it is a lot different then when it first rolled out in the late 1990's.

Everyone was aware that shipping international would take weeks if not months before anyone saw their order or a package delivered. Still, many folks think that is the case but I'm here to tell you that international shipping is almost just as fast as domestic shipping here in the United States.

With step-by-step tracking, insurance, and affordability, shipping to international countries has never been easier. I personally think that international shipping will get easier, more affordable and quicker in the near future than it is right now.

Selection of parts

Many parts that where fitted to BSA models that where sold for the U.S. market usually had parts that where not available in the UK. For example - a 1970 BSA A65 Lightning had the smaller U.S. tank. That particular tank was never sold or fitted to any BSA A65 in the UK making it quite rare in the UK.

Purchasing parts from the U.S. now gives you a broad option from quality, selection and also scares parts - It's a buyers delight.

A large problem of dealing with sellers in Britain is inconsistency in shipping or mailing costs.
One dealer will sell you an entire lighting switch, complete with knob, and charge about 6 dollars to ship it. but another seller wants fifteen dollars to ship just the knob and it’s mounting screw.

Forty tears ago, I could order parts from British retailers , receive them in two weeks, and cost – including shipping – was half of retail price here in the U.S.A.

And, I COULD ACTUALLY GET THE PARTS! My local dealers couldn’t get them from the Triumph Corporation warehouse in Baltimore for months at a time.
