Do you own a BSA Unit Single? Does the year happen to be 1971 or 1972? Is it a 250? If so... Keep reading. L.F. Harris is now reproducing Forged Connecting Rods for late BSA Unit Singles (250) from 1971-1972. These are know to be the "Strongest" Rods out of the 5 that Triumph/BSA installed on there 250 models. Yes, over time Connecting Rods can become worn & introduced to a lot of stress and should be replaced when necessary. Although these will fit 1971-1972 250's, they can also be installed on 1967-1970 250 models with the Square Barrel & Head but you must remove material from the flywheel in order for it fit. If your capable of modifying the flywheel on the early models, then we highly recommend using this rod. This Connecting Rod is Forged & is Heat Treated to T6 and the Bottom Cap is made of Forged EN8 Steel. Rod Bolts & Nut are also included. Visit my store to purchase your new 70-9911 L.F. Harris Connecting Rod for your Triumph / BSA 250 Rebuild. -C.B.S.
