One of the many challenges when restoring a vintage Triumph unit 650 twin is finding a good, useable, and repairable gas tank. If your looking for a new replacement fuel tank for your Triumph 650 unit twin then we highly recommend that you take a look at this gas tank by EMGO.

This is seriously a quality gas tank - Made on new tooling making this tank strong and ready for prep / paint. Comes with the correct filler neck, petcock bung holes, and front mounting studs

Although this tank will fit all Triumph 650 unit twins from 1963-1970 (TR6C, T120TT, T120R, TR6R, etc), please note that the shape of this tank is not the Bonneville tank or TR6 tank, in fact the size is in-between the slimline and TR6 tank

Great tank - very well put together. My only complaint is that it is just enough different from the original tank that I cannot install the chrome trim piece that covers the seam. This is on a 1968 TR6C. With the TR6C top clamp there is barely any clearance between the clamp and the tank when the forks are turned to full lock.

These are a well made good looking tank. Heavier gauge steel than the original and a slightly different shape to a TR6 or Bonnie tank.I put mine on about 3 years ago and am very happy. However they have gone up a lot in price but much better than an Indian tank that you will have to fix or modify to use .
