New Triumph twins / triples gear box drain & level plugs. Over the years Triumph offered different plugs ranging in different part #'s and specifications. Today we offer 3 variations all stocked under the original Triumph part numbers..

All transmission level plugs are made and imported from England. Designed to fit a wide range of both Triumph twins and triples (T120, TR6, T150, T100, etc) from approx 1961-1982. I recommend that you check your parts book to ensure that you order the correct part.

The standpipe on my 1969 T150 was too long, leading to overfilling of the gearbox if using that method. From what I've read a lot of them had this issue. The length of this one is correct. Add 710cc of gear oil, and a slight amount will dribble out, just as it should. The 11/16" nut is much deeper than the stocker, which makes sense as well.The very slim original nut could be rounded off unless using a six point socket and being very careful not to slip.
