If you have ever ridden a Norton Commando and the rear brake cable broke its a scary scenario! This safety spring is designed to hold your rear brake pedal in the event of a broken cable.
The spring design looks "stock" and is very discrete... I recommend this safety spring it to all my Norton Commando owners out there. Fits Norton Commando models up to 1974 (Pre-MK3). Please refer to your parts catalog for proper fitment.

The installation was easy and the added safety is a bonus. It also adds a positive return feel to the peddle. Every pre MKIII should have had one from the factory.
