The 3-jaw extractor tool is suited for most Triumph 650 & 750 twins (T120, T140, TR6, etc), BSA Triples (A75, Rocket III), and many Norton twins.

The threaded extractor tool works with all Triumph 350 and 500 unit twins (T90, T100, T100R, T100C, etc) from 1957-1974 only. Please refer to your parts catalog for proper fitment.

Ok. So, i am a tool guy-nice to have the right tool. As received, the tool only barely worked after some primitive hammering on the jaws. The curved jaws don't fit behind the gear very well and only engage the gear on the corners of the jaws so they slip off depending on where the gear teeth fall. I realized that if I ground the jaws flat so not curved they would fit perfectly, thinking the whole time I'm crazy because I won't need this tool again for years. (They need to form a triangle, not a circle) However' due to the different style main bearing, I had to remove the gear the next day and it worked like a charm and saved my bacon !! Thanks for reading.

If you’re rebuilding an A65 BSA engine, you need this puller. It’s a well designed and extremely beefy tool. It’ll last a lifetime, maybe more. I’m very pleased with it.
