Keep your carburetor running cool by using a phenolic carburetor spacer. There are many types of spacers on the market today and I prefer to use these... why? - they are gas proof (will not fall apart like paper gaskets) and they are manufactured from a harder material which will not warp your carburetor.

 

Phenolic spacers also block heat transfer better than any other spacer. Spacers will work with all Amal Monobloc and Concentric carburetors.

original gasket in 90 degree weather was boiling the float bowls on my Lightning yet problem solved. Very tough material, I don't believe it'll crush at all with tightening

These chaps are on it . Fast good service and seems good quality products but the postage cost of £18 for a very small light package a bit excessive.

The size of the part was not posted but it looked like the part I needed. I bought it. It does not work for me, then you refer me to you return policy, that tells me I'm screwed. This company is a bummer.
