We are proud to stock this new Lockheed replacement brake caliper by Griling. Made on new 2020 tooling - imported from England. Replaces part number 60-4101, D4101 and CP2969. Girling caliper comes complete with brake pad cotter pins, copper washers + banjo, and two hard anodized brake pistons.

 

Can be used on either the front or rear (sold individually). Simply the best money can buy today - better than the original Lockheed brake systems. Passivated finish keeps it looking good and prevents corrosion. Fits all Triumph TR7, T140, T150, and T160 models that are equipped with disc brakes either front and or rear from approx 1973-1982.

Caliper assembly is sold each as pictured - chrome covers that are usually fitted to the outside of calipers are not compatible with new Girling calipers - "clearancing" caliper may be required for installing on some applications

This is a very nice unit, but unfortunately it’s not an exact copy of the original Lockheed unit. It’s a little bit longer, it has extra “wings” that the original didn’t have, which make it interfere with the underslung bracket on the rear of my 1976 T140. Fortunately my original front caliper is good, so I swapped that to the rear and put this one in it’s place. The brake line port is close to the same place but not exactly, so if you’re retaining the stock hard line you’ll need to bend it into position. The other thing that’s annoying is the bleeder valve is on the inboard side, so it’s between the rotor and the spokes. Bleeding the brakes on this bike was already a f-ing nightmare, this makes it that much harder. It’s still a nice upgrade from the original, just expect it to be a bit of a fight. That’s what I get for having a Triumph with disc brakes!
