For sale is a new English made Triumph TR6 / TR7 throttle cable manufactured by Venhill. Venhill cables are far superior to EMGO and other "English made" or "USA Made" cables on the market today.

I personally believe Venhill cables are the most accurate and highest quality cables you can purchase. Outer cable measures 45" in  length while the inner cable measures 49" suited for "USA high bars". Fits Triumph TR6 & TR7 models from 1971-1978. Please refer to your parts catalog for proper fitment.

Upper cable end was longer than stock and did not fit into throttle nest far enough so as to allow the cable to ride in the slot. fiddled with it for about an hour and ended up drilling the hole in the nest a little deeper to make it fit. Previous cable end was a separate brass piece.

Had almost all parts I needed for rebuilding my 1971 Triumph 650 carburetor and what was great was I could search by part number from my Triumph parts catalogue and find the on CBS!

The 60-1806 45"outer with 49" inner cable worked good for my 1974 Triumph TR5T Trophy Trail with stock handlebars with an EMGO 7/8" Amal Type Chrome Single Cable Throttle Assembly. The only modification I made was to remove the locknut from the throttle housings cable slack adjuster to give me a little more length on the inner cable to make sure the throttle slide would bottom out on the throat of the carb and still have a little freeplay in the cable.
