I had an erratic spark issue apparently stemming from running a Tri-Spark EI with another brand of regulator. I purchased this Tri-Spark regulator to alleviate the problem. This new regulator works well! It solved my erratic spark issue!
Can't believe how Tri-Spark has simplified the ignition system for the old Triumphs. I replaced an old Rita Lucas system that had a box and bunch of wires needed to operate. Tri-Spark lit up the old TR6R right away and ran smoothly. And compared to the old original points system --- OMG. Out of this world.
