Our new Lucas LED rear tail light bulbs will replace the conventional Lucas light bulbs. All LED light bulbs that we are offering will work with both + / - ground applications... 

Although our LED light bulbs are brighter they do not put any strain on your charging system. In fact, our LED stop light bulbs put less load on your charging system.... it's a "win win" situation. Bulbs will fit most Triumph, BSA, and Norton motorcycles that where equipped with Lucas tail lights.

Significantly brighter than the incandescent bulb. How much, well using a light meter from work, I saisfied my curiosity. The stock bulb measured .35 footcandles at 3 feet, for the tail light and 3.01 for the brake light. The led measured 3.27 footcandles for the tail light and 13.83 for th brake.

While I realize it's a close distance for measurement and doesn't reflect traffic distances, it's still basically 10x brighter for the tail light, and more than 4x brighter for the brake light. In other words, it's significantly brighter by any measure.

Very happy with upgrade. Greatly improved illumination and lower voltage load on battery especially during idle. No more dying engine at idle. Big Thanks!!!
